Maybe if they stopped trying to gut the welfare state and focused on protecting workers and the vulnerable, they'd actually get somewhere—people need security, not more austerity.

Germany really needs to push through these reforms if it wants to stay competitive—dragging things out because of coalition infighting just puts the whole economy at risk.

If Germany can’t get these much-needed reforms through because of coalition infighting, it just shows how big government gets in the way of practical solutions and real progress.

Honestly, this just shows how unsustainable big government and bloated welfare systems really are—eventually, you run out of other people's money and political will. If Germany actually embraced more individual responsibility and economic freedom, they wouldn't be stuck in this endless cycle of crisis and gridlock.
