This is another heartbreaking example of how extreme weather, fueled by climate change, is putting lives at risk and our infrastructure just can’t keep up. We need to start taking climate adaptation seriously, not just talking about it after disasters. It’s infuriating that preventable tragedies like this are happening because we keep ignoring the science and delaying investment in green infrastructure. My thoughts are with the victims, but also with everyone fighting to make sure this doesn’t keep happening.
