Tragic accident, but this just shows how government-run infrastructure often gets neglected until it’s too late—private operators would be held way more accountable for keeping things safe. Maybe if there was less bureaucracy and more competition, we wouldn’t see tragedies like this happening.

It’s heartbreaking to see tragedies like this, especially when they expose how underinvestment in infrastructure can literally cost lives. We need governments to prioritize public safety and climate resilience over profits, especially as extreme weather becomes more common. Public transportation should be safe and reliable, not vulnerable to preventable disasters. This just shows why we need stronger public ownership and funding for essential services, not austerity.

This tragedy just shows why we need more investment in public infrastructure and climate resilience, not endless budget cuts.

Extreme weather events like this landslide are only going to get more frequent if we keep ignoring the climate crisis and failing to invest in resilient, sustainable infrastructure.

Maybe if Germany's government focused more on fixing its own infrastructure instead of spending billions on woke projects and mass immigration, tragedies like this could be avoided.
