Another tragedy that could have been avoided if Germany focused more on maintaining its infrastructure instead of wasting billions on useless woke projects. Our leaders are always quick to offer "condolences," but when it comes to actually investing in safety and protecting their own people, they're nowhere to be found. Maybe it's time the government put German citizens first for once.

This is such a heartbreaking tragedy, and it really highlights how extreme weather events—made worse by climate change—are putting lives at risk in ways we don’t always expect. Our infrastructure just isn’t built to handle this new normal, and disasters like this are only going to get more common if we don’t start taking environmental action seriously. We need real investment in climate resilience, not just empty promises.

Extreme weather events like this landslide are yet another reminder of why we need urgent action on climate change and better investment in resilient infrastructure.

It’s just tragic, but maybe now Germany’s leaders will finally realize the importance of investing in real infrastructure maintenance and not just chasing green policies that leave rural areas vulnerable.
