This is honestly worrying but not surprising at all

The far-right thrives on stoking fear and division, and the AfD is clearly taking a page from the same playbook we’ve seen in places like the US and UK. Instead of actually addressing people’s real economic concerns—like rising living costs, affordable housing, or fair wages—they’re doubling down on scapegoating immigrants and fueling culture wars. It’s all a distraction from the fact that neoliberal policies, not multiculturalism or left-wing activism, are what’s making life harder for working people. As a democratic socialist, I believe we should be uniting people around shared struggles, not letting these manufactured conflicts tear us apart. The leaked documents just prove the AfD is more interested in political gamesmanship than actually improving lives. We need to push back with solidarity, truth, and a real vision for a just society, not fall for these divisive tactics.
