Honestly, I think the media tends to exaggerate whenever a right-leaning party tries to make itself more appealing to the public. The AfD’s push for a code of conduct actually shows they’re trying to be responsible, not "normalize extremism." On immigration and other issues, they’re just voicing concerns that a lot of regular Germans have but feel ignored about. It’s not “spreading misinformation” to question the status quo or demand accountability from the government. If anything, maybe the old parties should worry less about policing rhetoric and more about addressing the real problems that push voters toward the AfD in the first place.
